Hi, I’m Kira, the owner of Bows and Arrows Dog Grooming! Through Bows & Arrows Dog Grooming Co., my goal is to provide a calm, one-on-one grooming experience that minimizes stress, builds trust, and allows each dog to receive the individualized attention they deserve. I bring over a decade of professional canine care experience, starting in 2013 as a bather and boarding assistant before advancing to full-time grooming in 2019.

For the past five years, I have proudly served clients at Milk and Honey Paw Spa. As a certified dog groomer with many years of hands-on experience, I have developed a patient, individualized approach to grooming. I am proud to be Fear Free Certified and Pet CPR Certified, and I value continuing education in coat care, skin care, handling, and pet wellness.I especially enjoy grooming Doodles of all sizes, Pomeranians, Australian Shepherds, and dogs who benefit from deshedding services. I appreciate the unique coat care and styling needs of every breed. I am Dedicated to puppy grooming that prioritizes safety, confidence, and positive learning. While I love the artistry of grooming, I believe a dog’s emotional well-being is just as important as the finished haircut.

My grooming philosophy was deeply influenced by my rescued Boxer/Bully mix, Arrow, who also inspired the name of my business. Through working with Arrow and positive reinforcement training classes, I discovered how patience, understanding body language, building trust, and positive reinforcement can transform a dog’s experience. That journey strengthened my passion for Fear Free and cooperative care practices, which I strive to incorporate into every grooming appointment. I also love helping pet parents better understand their dogs! From coat and nail care to cooperative care techniques, I enjoy sharing practical knowledge that helps families maintain their dogs’ comfort, confidence, and well-being between grooming visits.
