Why did you decide to change your business structure?
After looking at all the things that we wanted to focus on the type of service we wanted to create, as well as just general changes to the community and economy. We decided that evolving into an employee owned model would be the best way to ensure that we can continue serving our community in the future. But also meeting not only the businesses goals, but our personal goals as many of our lives have big changes coming in the future.
How will I know which groomer to choose?
If your dog had been seeing one groomer, regularly, they will be reaching out to you for future scheduling and to make sure you know who to contact and how to contact them. Keeping dogs with the same groomer help your pet be more comfortable!
Many dogs saw different groomers depending on who their scheduling needs. And if they were on standing schedules or not, so we will look at whoever your dog saw the most and probably refer you to them.
What if I'd like to try another groomer, in the collective other than the one that i've been seeing? Is that allowed?
Of course! Just like the way we operated previously, we have many groomers. While they all have wonderful skills, we all have slightly different styles and approaches. And if you ever wanted to try a new groomer, that's always an option. We are all very good friends and understand that at the end of the day, a client and dog having the best groomer for them is the most important part. If you don't wanna let a specific groomer know you can contact the collective directly via the phone or the contact form on the find a groomer page.
With everything changing is my price going to change too?
No, it shouldn't. We've all agreed that we plan to keep everyone where they're at. Especially since we've recently instituted a price increase over the summer. But if we have not seen your dog since July, Or you had a puppy who is growing, change your haircut from shor to long, you may have a couple. dollar increas, as that was already instituted. We want this transition to be as easy as possible with no hidden suprises.
What if i'm not sure which groomer to choose?
We don't want it to feel complicated. There is no bad choice amongst the groomers in the collective. We have tried to list our specialties on the main page as well as give you a little bit more information into our backgrounds. And personal life so you can pick someone who you think is a great fit for you. Also I encourage you to check out each one's social media where they're gonna be listing their special offerings and spa packages. Etc. And if you still just don't have the informatio just send us a message and we will all take a look at our individual schedules and find the first groomer, that seems like they would be a good fit that also fits your scheduling needs. We're happy to help. Take care of that for you.
How do I get a hold of someone?
The phone number on the website here or the contact form can be used to message the collective directly, or if you look at the directory links, you'll see each groomer, has contact information on how to text them or register with them. For an upcoming appointment.
Will anything be different about my pet's upcoming appointment? Will I have to reschedule everything?
Small changes, but all good things! You will be dealing with your groomer directly from start to finish. Many dogs will find that they have a shorter stay. As we are able to focus on individual dogs more directly. In each grimmer will be bringing their unique vibes, with fun new offerings, add ons et cetera to enhance your pets experience. So yes, things are gonna change, but we hope only for the better. What will not change is that your pet has a wonderful experience where they are loved, respected, treated gently and leave feeling and smelling amazing.
As far as future appts, all prebooked appts will be reviewed by your groomer and all attempt will be made to keep the same days and times. But some adjustments may be required to ensure the schedules flow smoothly.
Do we pay the collective or our groomer?
At the end of your visit, your groomer will check you out as we are all completely independent businesses now. The collective only serves to be a hub for promoting the grooming business that operate here, acting as a facility managing entity to make sure that things move smoothly within the building and its non business related operations, and sometimes serve as a concierge between clients and the individual businesses just like if you went into the mall and went to a customer service desk. Each groomer will have different payment options based on their preferences. So for any questions regarding your specific payment, reach out to your groomer directly!
If i'm unhappy with my service, do I contact the collective or the groomer directly?
Please let your groomer know! Each groomer in the collective sets out to make our customers happy. So for some reason, the service falls short or there was some miscommunication. Please let them know directly right away. I'm sure they would want every opportunity to fund a solution
