I'm now in my 25th year of grooming. (holy smokes! Where did the time go!?!)  I moved from central Florida to beautiful Tennessee, where since then, I managed and groomed in the salon of a local luxury pet resort before opening the Milk & Honey Paw Spa in 2020!  Its been a pleasure to watch it grow from myself with a truck and tiny mobile trailer, to a team of the areas best groomers, and especially now as we evolve into the newest version of ourselves to not only help the amazing women whove worked for me spreade their wings and carve out their own identities, but knowing this will allow us to serve our clients and their pets even better than before!!

I was formally trained at the Academy of Animal Arts in Florida in 2001, and have regularly attended continuing education workshops in several states, covering topics such as advanced grooming and handling skills; breed-specific training; business and teaching courses; first aid and general animal health; safety and prevention; animal communication and customer relations.  As a former grooming educator, I love teaching others how to care for their dogs. I consider myself a partner in helping my clients care for their pets at home between groom visits.  Im proud of the reputation we have in our community for being a place of not only excellent grooms, but where clients are treated with respect, and their pets are cared for like we'd care for our own. Compassion, knowledge, and actual love for whast we do is the cornerstone of every choice we make.

If I had a specialty, I'd have to say its doodles and small "oodles".  Somewhere along the line I created a doodle styling that seems to capture the doodle personality, and doesn't "poodle the doodle".  I also love breed cuts, terrier and poodle in particular. And as a corgi mom, I want to see all the corgi babies! I am also the collectives only cat groomer.
