Dear Mobile Grooming Clients,
I know change is hard, and most of you just adjusted to a new groomer after Billie left. The average time spent in this career is around 10 years due to injury. I've made it 24. But the rigors of mobile grooming has left me with several new injuries, along with flair up of repetitive motion issues. I’m finding myself in pain every day. If I don’t listen to my body, it may end my career sooner than I would like. I’ve been trying to figure out how to make sure everyone is taken care of. Thankfully, a perfect solution was present in our current team.
As the demand and need for mobile has grown, and my body struggles with injury, we have decided to pass ownership of the mobile section of grooming to Nell Proctor, who will operate under the adorable name of Pawsitive Vibes Mobile Grooming,
She has worked for me for nearly 10 years, and been with Milk & Honey since the beginning. During her time with me, she has learned the industry, grooming customer service, and started as a professional bather, salon manager, then worked up to be an apprentice groomer and now a talented professional groomer. She was trained under the Milk & Honey philosophy of care which is focused on loving, respectful treatment of the dogs, and excellent quality grooming. We are extremely happy for her and this next chapter in her grooming career.
She is already set up to do business in the same way you are used to as well as licensed and insured. She will be taking over the software directly, so nothing will change with how to contact for appointments or questions. She also has a phone number you can call and speak to her on to learn more, ask questions or just get to know her. 931-623-7752
I know more change is frustrating, and trusting new people is hard. But Nell is about the closest thing to cloning myself that I can offer you all. Due to it being the end of the year (and our fiscal year), we had to move fast and make this effective Jan 1st, 2026.
Im sorry I won’t be able to say goodbye in person to most of you. But please know what an honor it has been to serve you and your pets. And I ask that you give Nell the chance to step in and continue giving you and your pet’s excellent service and support her as she gets to know the route, the software, and you and your pets! I am truly heartbroken to have to make this decision as I’ve grown so fond of you all and absolutely adore your dogs!
